Sambor the Barbarian - Son of Perun
From history we know that for the Romans the Germanic tribes was Barbarians. ( A barbarian is a human who is perceived to be either uncivilized or primitive.) And the Ancient Greek name βάρβαρος (barbaros), "barbarian", was an antonym (politēs), "citizen". As always, in fantasy stories the Barbar or Barbarian, is always depicted as a fearless and strong warrior, symbolising the strength of a simple man (no warlock or magical creature) who is able to resist evil in form of witches or even the gods. Even to break the curses, by sheer force of will and physical strength.
